Mount Katahdin Ascent

Service Description

Katahdin is a very strenuous climb located in Baxter State Park and the very last peak thru-hikers summit when they finish hiking the Appalachian trail, north bound! With an elevation gain of about 4,000 feet, regardless of which trail you take, it is for physically fit individuals. This hike requires a lot of planning, reservations are required but the pay off is worth every step you put into this climb. Please contact me early for a summer ascent of Maine's tallest Mountain! Pricing includes transportation into the park from Bangor or Millinocket, packing lists and more. Make sure you choose the date that fits your adventure type and what you want out of this amazing experience! Each trail and trip creates a new experience for hikers! * Friday July 12th-Roaring Brook Friday July 12th-Starting from Roaring Brook Campground and clients will have the option to make a group decision about which route they would like to choose. If Knife's edge is on your bucket list, this would be the trip to sign up for!  * Saturday August 17- Katahdin Stream Saturday August 17- Starting from Katahdin Stream Campground we will be doing an out and back of the Hunt Trail * Saturday October 12- Roaring Brook Saturday October 12-Starting from Roaring Brook and hope for some fall Foliage! We will be visiting Chimney pond for a photo opp, taking saddle and from there we can either come back down saddle OR if I have people looking to get two peaks on their 4K list, we can go over to Hamlin and take the Hamlin Ridge trail down for some great views!
