When I started writing blogs, it was to help others who came to me with questions about hiking, where I’ve been, gear etc. Most of those questions came from females. The joy that I get when I help someone try to choose adventures, gear, routes etc helped me produce content that made me feel like I was making a difference for people.
That joy blossomed into wanting to become a Registered Maine Guide. Helping those same people who had questions actually leave their comfort zone and step foot in all of these places they wanted to see is my passion!
What are your goals for 2025? What can I help you with? What kind of adventures do you want me to offer? What is on your radar? My group trips are typically "girl gang" only but if you are interested in putting a co-ed group together, I would be more than happy to discuss that as well! I do offer private sessions where I can coordinate a specific date with you and your group so let's chat! The calendar fills up fast!
My first trip of 2025 was like seeing my original vision come together. The camaraderie that came from (what I will call weather trauma for the group) did not dampen their spirits one bit. The laughter that was had, the goals and obstacles they overcame and the great conversation that was had during the hike, post hike during brunch and during the commute.. THAT was my original vision for Hick Chick Maine Adventures! 2025 is going to be a great year!! Thank you ladies! 🫶🤎💥🎉🌅🥾⛰️
